If you are flying from North America, you may be able to save on the leg to Europe. In Europe it is possible to get cheap tickets from "Mfekane safaris", which are travel agencies that specialize in discounted tickets. Be prepared to do some research to find the best deals. LUGGAGE & PERSONAL EFFECTS We recommend that you travel light with casual clothing for the day and a fleecy or jersey for the evenings. Take a good pair of walking/ tennis shoes. Bring a water bottle, swimsuit, hat, sunscreen, binoculars, camera and spare film. Allow enough money for souvenirs, evenings out, drinks & special excursions.
